Research Proposal Dissertation

I have to gather my idea to create this assignment. It's very difficult for me to think in a short period of time.

Finally, I changed my topic again which is " How does LFW have such a strong influence on Asian Girls"

But now I really dont know how and where exactly I can go to make the interview. Basically, now I have two choices:

Firstly, interviewing with 10 girls in Clothes Show London at Excel on 29-31, May 2009.

Secondly. interviewing with 10 girls in London Fashion Week at Somerset House on 18-22, September 2009.

The problems now is actually about the topic which I have chosen. As I would really like to make the reserch about LFW but unfortunately this event was already passed, thus this makes I could not go back and make any researchs about it. However, the new massive fashion event is coming, namely it is another choice of my research. It is the "Clothes show London" that will be arranged in Excel on 29-31 May 2009.


Moreover, I am now so worry about the time for collecting data for my dissertation at LFW on this coming Sep as I think it might be too late for me to collect all the information in that time so I might go and make an interview in the Exel fashion event first, then later on if I have a chance to interview at LFW, I will collect the data again.


I have read a lot of literature reviews in oder to apply to my dissertation. Hopefully, I will finish the assignment as soon as possible.

Finally, Thank you very much to James Kennell that make all MA event management students have their own webblogs in oreder to reflect all the progress of our course and to record all student' s research ideas, which in my opinion I think these help us to know our own progression and also make us new ideas for using in the future.

Disseration

I have met my supersdvisor again on Wednesday. My advisor recommended me the fashion journal articles to read and make the understanding what was going on in the fashion event. Moreover, London Fashion Week was the fashion event but it's happened in last month ago and I couldn't collect the data from those people in LFW therefore, I should focus on the other fashion event in London.

Therefore, My dissertation have been changed to ' Clothes Show London' in the Excel on 29-31 May 2009, that I will focus on this fashion event in my disseratation. I have to be there to do the research and might be do the interview or questionnaire with the audience. Since, this is the largest fashion and beauty event in the world. This place is so interesting me to have a energy to do the research.

However, I have to do the research proposal of disseration to submit to next Wednesday so, I have to do it right now!!

My progress dissertaion

Last week, the first time that I met my superadvisor because we are all on the holiday. I discussed with my advisor that

he asked me what is my interesting in fashion and I explained to him about I am interested in why fashion in London has

been the place that everyone would like to buy and shopping to create the word ' london is fashion'. Moreover, I noticed

that why fashion shop in the shopping street is attractive numerous people from aroun d the world to buy the clothes in

London. And I have been London Fashion Week and London Fashion Weekend which are the great potential fashion event

in UK. Therefore, my dissertation topic might be;

1.How and why is London Fashion Week a place every teenage( 18-30 ) girl aspires to go to?

2.Why is fashion relavant to London and what is its influence on fashion trends as af fashion destination?

3.How does LFW have such a strong influence on Asian girls ? concept of fashion?


The question related to this includes:
- What is Asian? might be Chinese, Taiwanese, Thai, Korean and Japanese.


This is my progess right now because I have to discuss with my advisor again. Whereas, I am afraid that I have to submit dissertation proposal on Wednesday 13 , May 2009 . It's next week but I dont know exactly of my methodology of disseration.

Easter HolidaY

Now, I am in Bangkok, Thailand where is my hometown and I have come back to see my family and all of my friends. This is a precious time for me. However, I try to do the find the article about fashion event and fashion marketing to read and understand that what's going on. Fortunately, I got Mr.Charles Richard Bladen to be my advisor and he give me the sugguestion to start with reading the article of the fashion event first, and after that I will notice that how the scope of fashion event that I would like to do.

This holiday is a holiday of assignment because there are a lot of assignments. Therefore, I have to do assignments and do the research of dissertation as well. I hope all of my classmate will have a good time for our holiday. Take Care...See ya!!

3. What is the most attractive factor of LFW which has affected fashion in Thailand?
4. How does LFW affect to the young designers in Thailand?

Research Objectives:

1. To comprehend the distinctive point of LFW.
2. To analyse the efficiency of the LFW event in order to adapt and improve fashion in Thailand.
3. Analysing and assessing the strategic marketing of LFW in terms of providing sponsorship.
4. Seeking and investigaing, what is the significant factor of LFW and how it has influenced to fashion in Thailand.

LONDON FASHION WEEK

Today,Unbelievable, I can get into London Fashion Week.It's amazing because it's impossible to come in if you are not press, buyer and trade. But I can get in ....Hahaha ^-^.It's fantastic and this is my exciting experience because everyone has to have the ticket before getting in. Actually, I did like a complicated communication that it make me can visit this event and I saw many people outside this event looking for and try to get in the event but they can't because there are a lot of security in there. Anyway, I can visit only the exhibition because the catwalk show is for the VIP visitors such as, buyer, press or trade.
